Hi guys.  If you didn’t know, I like Kanye West.  I could go into extreme detail about how much I like love him.  Alas, I will not spend this post about that.  A few days ago, I got quite my fill of Mr.West, both directly and indirectly.  First off, the great Aussie Ta-Ku released a outstanding cover of Kanye and Estelle’s “American Boy”.  “American Girl” is the super mellow counterpart to the “American Boy”.  While the original song makes you want to party, the cover leaves you wanting to just lay back and kill time.

Yeezy himself also released some new material.  I got super duper excited and thought it was Swish.  Unfortunately, for me and the world it was not.  But it was an interesting remix of “Say You Will” featuring Caroline Shaw.  Kanye played this version at his Hollywood Bowl shows, and while it doesn’t go to far from the original, it still is pleasant to listen to.  So now that I was able to bring some life into your day, let’s all take a moment to pray to Yeezus and hope he releases Swish sooner than later.
