I’ve never checked much for Logic, but after his excellent new track with Childish Gambino came out today I might have to do a deep dive.

“Driving Ms. Daisy” is the first actual collaboration between the two, although Logic did sample ‘Bino on “Do Ya Like,” and it’s a terrific bit of a left-field anxiety rap.

Logic borrows a bit of Gambino’s trademark flow on his opening verse, and Mr. Glover himself switches effortlessly between singing and rapping.

The beat, which was produced by Logic and 6ix is remarkably smooth, and gives the song a laidback, DMV vibe.
