I’m a sucker for indie R&B, and when I first heard Belove I automatically knew I was in. The band hails from Melbourne, Australia, and have a terrific, electronic-influenced sound.

They recently released their self-titled debut EP, and it’s a thoroughly enjoyable mix of buzzy synths and tightly-sequenced drums, and just enough unexpected turns to keep you listening at rapt attention.

Particular standouts were “For You,” and “Like It,” the band’s collaboration with Stephanie Mascetta. It’s a perfect single and reminiscent of ALTA, another Australia-based PGM favorite.
