Oh Wonder has done an incredible job building buzz for their upcoming self-titled debut with a handful of mesmerizing singles. The indie pop outfit just dropped their most recent track, the melancholy “Landslide,” and while it may not be as infectious as “Lose It” or “Midnight Moon” it showcases another dimension for the group.

It’s still catchy, and the synth-centric instrumental is a perfect backdrop for Josephine Vander Gucht’s and Anthony West’s harmonies about a friend going through a difficult time.

In an era of minimalistic, electronic-influenced pop, Oh Wonder sets themselves apart with their incredible warmth and emotion.

“Landslide” is a great holdover until their 15-track album is out on September 4th.
