Deerhoof, the ever-versatile band that’s put out consistently wonderful music for nearly twenty years, are about to release La Isla Bonita, their thirteenth album. Impressively, they’re somehow able to still churn out music as gripping as in their earlier days, and that’s no exception with “Last Fad,” the latest single from their upcoming album. The album isn’t out until November 4, but hopefully this will tide listeners over until the day. A week later, the group will make their way to Chicago, playing at Bottom Lounge November 11 with Priests and PGM favorite White Reaper. It’ll be a hell of a show, so don’t miss out.
