Tony Allen and Damon Albarn have had a fruitful partnership in the past linking up for Albarn’s The Good, The Bad, and the Queen and Homecooking’s “Every Season.” The latter being one of the best songs Tony Allen has ever released in his long and illustrious career, it makes sense that the two would link up again. Allen’s typically smooth afrobeat drumming guides the hypnotic, funky track while Albarn spins some great melodies.

According to the press release:

Allen’s new album is due to be released on JazzVillage sometime this October.
