SBTRKT ft. Ezra Koenig – “New Dorp. New York.”
SBTRKT didn’t just announce his new album Wonder Where We Land, he also liberated an unexpected collaboration with Vampire Weekend frontman Ezra Koenig to puncuate it.
“New Dorp. New York.” is certainly an attention grabber. It’s incredibly sparse and almost has an afrobeat quality that really lets you dig into Koenig’s lyrics.
It’s a far cry from STBRKT’s popular collaborations with Sampha, but it’s a good sign of things to come nonetheless.
