Josh Tillman, the mastermind behind Father John Misty, claims to have already written his next album even though his last album, I Love You, Honeybear, came out earlier this year. In an interview with NME, he said that he’s through with writing about love.

“No, I have no interest in writing about love anymore, for a while,” Tillman said. “I’m kind of worn out on that. I’m proud of it—I feel like for me it was an accomplishment because, at the time that I undertook it, it felt so far out of my wheelhouse.”

Tillman pointed out that “Bored in the USA” and “Holy Shit” were indicative of where his next album is headed and claims the next album will be “pure vodka.”
