Tweedy – “High as Hello”
Spencer Tweedy and famed father have been steadily releasing songs leading up to their debut album being released later this year. While most of them have been fairly straightforward and bare-bones,”High as Hello” stands out from the pack with its interesting drum production and gorgeous back up vocals from NPR darlings Lucius (??). This isn’t confirmed but there is a video of the two groups playing together and those are female vocals. Regardless, this song perfects the languid summer atmosphere Tweedy has been channeling.
