British singer-songwriter Astronomyy burst onto the scene last summer with “Don’t Need U,” but his output has been pretty slim since then.

Luckily, he’s back with “Nothin’ on my Mind,” a track that features his trademark minimalist blend of bright surf guitars and sharply sequenced drums.

“Nothin’ on my Mind” is a little more poppy and upbeat than Astronomyy’s past three singles, but it shows a nice bit of growth from the singer in the past 12 months.
