West Virginia-born rapper D-WHY might’ve given us the first great summer hip-hop song of 2014 with “Single in the Summer.”

It’s a breezy track with a terrific beat from MisterNeek that has D-WHY in perfect form, showcasing his wordplay and sense of humor.

D-WHY’s not the most technically gifted rapper out there, but he’s clever and knows his strengths. He also might steal your girlfriend.
