Here’s a nice Christmas surprise, as Homeboy Sandman and Blu team up for a quick-strike free four-track EP.

Sandman handles the vocal duties, while Blu provides his signature lo-fi, jazzy backdrops.

While it would’ve been nice to hear some bars from the L.A. MC, it’s hard to fault what Sandman does lyrically. His speedy flow shines on “Conjugal Visits to the Prison of the Mind,” and he rides a difficult beat flawlessly on “Sunshowers.”
