“Studio” was one of the most well-rounded songs on Schoolboy Q’s Oxymoron record, a slow-burning ode to late nights recording that was humorous, honest and catchier than anything else on the album.

The track proved to be the biggest radio hit of Q’s career, and to celebrate he just liberated a remix featuring a brand new verse from Nas.

Though the rest of the track is the same as the album version, Nasty’s verse, which addresses his current situation with Def Jam and his longevity in hip-hop, is a welcome addition.

Nas sounds right at home over Swiff D’s gritty instrumental, and even gets his croon on by singing a version of the hook.
