Saba – “ComfortZone” mixtape (Stream/Download)

Saba, the up-and-coming Chicago rapper, has been featured on some of the city’s most important hip-hop releases of the last few years, including Chance the Rapper’s “Acid Rap” and Hurt Everybody’s recent self-titled EP. He’s just put out “ComfortZone,” his sophomore mixtape, and its an impressive release. Working in a style heavily influenced by Golden Era East Coast boom-bap, “ComfortZone” is arguably the best mixtape to be released yet this year. Much like “Acid Rap,” Chance’s sophomore mixtape, “ComfortZone” has the potential to bring Saba to a wider audience, the sound of a young artist finally hitting his stride. Download it above via Audiomack, and get familiar with the album before your friends are raving over “Butter” like they did “Juice” months after it came out.
