Freddy Mummix – Melanin Stained Lover

Northwestern’s finest rhymer Freddy Mummix just dropped his latest project, a terrific full-length by the name of “Melanin Stained Lover.” The album features collaborations with several other Northwestern artists and producers, but Freddy’s lyricism and humor are the unifying core of the 10 tracks.

Highlights include the opener “First Day of College,” the closer “Heart of Diamond,” and “Nightmare at 20,000 Feet.”

Best of all, Freddy’s just a freshman, so you can only expect his music to get even better going forward.
